F1 2010 Hi Guys New Here

Hi Guys

Im new Here, looks like a cool site. I have the game for my PS3 I would love to have it form my PC but I cant run it

Windows XP
Athlon 64
Geforce 8600
2 GB Ram
Soundblaster sound card

Is my processor the only really thing holding me back? still enjoy the console version but hopefully one day I will have a pc so I can play it on that

Hi and welcome.

I had problems to start Dirt2 when I had single core cpu AMD Athlon 64 4000+. I searched the net and found tweaked "worker map" file which in this game can be found under F12010\system folder. In Dirt 2 I replaced the original workermap with tweaked (made backup copy from original file of course) and game worked after that. It may be that this game also has same thing. Try to search F12010 single core and workermap and maybe someone has a solution for it already.

In this topic theres the guy called "kruvas". He may have solution for single core cpu's but still keeps it secret.

Still, even if it may be possible to play with single core cpus in future it might not be very fun because of poor performance.
But if you already have the game for pc, send a pm to kruvas and ask if he wants to help.
