PC1 Help with some noob questions

I new to sim racing, I like project cars. I have two questions for you smart folks out there.
Q1: How do I change the weather settings in career mode, I would like to have just dry racing until I get used to Pcars.
Q2: how do I delete the car setups that I have saved. Reason for this one is when I pit it uses the default setup (escort mk1) that is saved as the default. Can't workout how to get rid of this one.

1. You cannot. Weather is fixed for the career races. You can only have your own weather settings for non-career races.

2. In the setup screen from the main menu, load your car and setup. Select "Reset" to reset the setup and then save it to all locations.

I have another question.
In career mode, I can't get it to even start. I click on a tier, and nothing happens.
I click on the credentials part, and it's got a lock on the bottom.
I'm not very good with tech. Everyone now knows this so I'll keep it
short.

Are you clicking on a tier/series you're eligible for? You can only participate in ones you've been invited to (I believe). If they look kinda grayed out you won't be eligible.

How do I become eligible?
Many apologies for simply being a simpleton with this stuff.
I'm heading to work but I will guve it a huge try tonite and
list exactly what everything looks like and what I can't do.
My deal is, I have extreme time limits, and by the time I get
nowhere after an hour, it's time to stop.
I feel like I'm neglecting my children after a while...
