Help needed with textures

I am building 2 tracks atm and Iam having the same trouble with both,
when I add the grass textures beside the track add a few fences and curbs I go to view them in the 3d view and I find that these a floating around all over the place.
Also more I add the worse it becomes.
So what Iam I doing wrong???is it something I need to turn on/off or does everyone have this when they make the tracks.
Now I have tried to find it in the help menu as well as check the vids,but Iam still missing it.

Haven't seen this one before.
Looks like a graphics issue.
What are your machine specs?

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
T7300 @2.00GHz
1.99 GHz,0.99 GB of RAM
XP pro
sp3

There seems to be a issue with laptops & display problems.

I can only suggest updating your Graphics card drivers.
Or run it on a Desktop if possible.
