F1 2013 helmets and skins

i have a question i regards to helmets and skins are they seperate from yrs to year or do they overide each other

Not sure what you mean ....... but the helmets and skins do not change from year to year.

You can change your helmet via your driver profile, but whatever you pick stays selected until you change it again. Car skins cannot be changed in any game menu.

If you want a different helmet (not built into the game) or different skin, then you must download and install a mod, assuming you have a PC. You cannot modify a console game.

Whatever you install as a skin or helmet, that will stay until you change it, if you wish.

sorry for the description ok what im asking is i see helmets and skins for classic 80s and 90s for download what im asking is do they have any effect on the 2013 helmets and skins when you download and install them hope that explains it better

I think I know what you mean. If you mod the Classic skins they will not effect your 2013 skins. I think the helmets are common across the game though (not sure).

There around 40 helmets or so, I think if you modify gen_helmet_2, then whenever you use helmet 2 (in your driver profile) you will see it, whether you are in the modern game, or the classic game.
