Have Your Say: Hamilton, Talent or Car Responsible for Success?

There's no denying that #44 is a damn good driver.

Yes he whines a bit every now and again when things aren't quite falling in his lap, but he knows how to race a car. Yes for the past few seasons of the hybrid era, he has had the best car. But it is only the same as when Vettel was winning all his championships, as he too has what was considered the best car season on season.

It's hard to see #44 replicating what he did in his title winning seasons at Mercedes driving a Williams or Force India, so the car has certainly helped. But it is not just the car alone.I'm sure if ericsson was driving a Mercedes he wouldn't be winning every race, lol.

For me the #44 vote is a 50/50.

A trend seems to be forming...
He's not a good driver because he got into a great car right from the start.
He couldn't win if the car was not great.
I don't like or root for him since he left McLaren. He's ungrateful.
I don't like his lifestyle. He's a punk rapper wanna-be.
I don't like his partying.
I think he's cold and doesn't like his fan.
He gets paid way too much money.
Did I miss any?

This is so on point, people use his "attitude" as a semi reason to denounce his talent when in truth he's no worse than other drivers that have come and go. His lifestyle don't affect his performances so there's no problems there.

It's 50/50 with any WDC anyway
