Fighting started yesterday and last time I Checked were about 15 casualties in Gaza 3 children with escalating conflict. Egypt is sending tanks into the Siani desert in preparation. WWIII may not be too far off now.

GAZA (Reuters) - Two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip targeted Tel Aviv on Thursday in the first attack on Israel's commercial capital in 20 years, raising the stakes in a showdown between Israel and the Palestinians that is moving toward all-out war.

Earlier, a Hamas rocket killed three Israelis north of the Gaza Strip, drawing the first blood from Israel as the Palestinian death toll rose to 16, five of them children.

Israeli warplanes bombed targets in and around Gaza city for a second day, shaking tall buildings. In a sign of possible escalation, the armed forces spokesman said the military had received the green light to call in up to 30,000 reserve troops.

The tensions have been there forever, and this conflict is similar to previous situations but no. This is a new war that started yesterday and looks to get much worse by weeks end.

In a series of attacks it’s calling “OpIsrael,” Anonymous went on a spree of website defacement and takedown attacks Thursday, calling on members to flood forty sites with junk web traffic designed to knock them offline and defacing websites including the privacy firm Israeli Security Academy and a blog the group described as belonging to the Israeli Defense Forces. “We Anonymous will not sit back and watch a cowardly Zionist State demolish innocent people’s lives.” reads one message posted to a defaced site, along with an image of smoke rising over what appears to be a Palestinian city.

Live stream from Gaza half the power is out but you can still hear drones and explosions.

UPDATE: Several airstrikes on Gaza in the past 10 minutes. Close to a dozen. Reuters and RT camera were nearly taken out and briefly went offline. Sounds of other noises, possibly gunfire or tank fire can be heard along with the buzzing of drones overhead. If the rumors were right, then there is just under an hour until the alleged ground invasion begins (7pm Eastern time). The increase in airstrikes and possible gunfire could be an indication of the invasion. Though if you hear a lot of gunfire, that means ground combat and that is probably your best indication of troops

Israel could always abide by UN Resolutions and pull out of occupied territory!

Of course that won't happen because the US offers Israel full protection in and out of the UN, regardless of how many civilians they annihilate (with weapons supplied by the US), regardless of how much land they occupy. Time the US did the right thing.
