Plus,
- increased resistance to damages to prevent AI to pit in for small aero damages
- increased driver seat position range (use LEFT or RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON then drag mouse to adjust view)
- removed bump maps from Morgan/ViperCC/350Z cockpits because of cartoon/plastic effect
- removed spa invisible wall in pits
- updated Enna tyres stack with moving ones
- updated 996CUP #123/124 ugly safety net with nicer one from ViperCC
- updated 996 RS with 3 styles : Motec+H gearbox / Motec+Seq gearbox / Stack+H gearbox
- updated all MoTeC/Pi/Stack fonts, display and cube maps, added red zone to Stack and added rev limit to MoTeC
- added 996 GT3 R versions
- added missing brakes/tyres temperatures motec line : now available in ALL cars (cycles show lap time, oil/water/tyres/brakes temperatures)
- added specific Ferrari/Porsche brakes
- added missing #109 Porsche GT3 CUP from 24h Spa 2003 event
- added laptimer to all cars with flags/pit icons
- added missing safety net in #108 C5R cockpit
- added wipers and dirt/rain effects on side windows
- fixed many black polygons on some cars
and many more (as CocaCola I will not give my detailed recipe because of people copying my work but you must know that there are more than 300 patches) during 7 long years of work on this project...

I have finished to rework all my HUDs DDS and fonts : there were misalignments in some languages, now it is fixed :)

I wonder why I continue to waste my time to write information in readme...because answer is clearly written : it is ENBSeries HDR plugin which breaks windows alt-tab so if you prefer to keep windows alt-tab instead of HDR graphics then do not enable ENBSeries in GTR2_SETUP (DO NOT PICK 1-4 CHOICES)
 
on my side I have updated the DucFreack UI and also added a new optional theme : pink :)

Next update 14.3 will be available in november so stay tuned...

Sadly 'we' (humanity as a whole) don't have the energy to read instructions anymore. I have noticed the same thing here and at work :O_o:
 
today I have fixed a 14 years old bug, or at least a non working feature : I have watched videos and noticed that the gear display unit of mc12 has got 3 RPM lights, now it is fixed in next 14.3 :)

The iron wolf told me that night skies were too black, too dark and he was right so I added a light blue tone. Moreover I have merged the real stars constellation I made mouse click by mouse click with the new stars background from ArmedLightning for a nicer and more detailed night sky. And last but not least I decided to use only 4k night maps, even in 2k version, because dots (stars) are much more crisp.
I made screenshots but honestly, due to jpeg compression and lower resolution, we don't really see the stars as they rendered in game : it looks much better in game than these previews but here they are :)

Can you do a sky texture for north america? especially in the parries and canadian shield we have some unique sunsets you often get some very pink/firey orange hues it will go along well with tracks such as monteral road america and canadian tire etc

Hi, I'm brand new to this and need some help. I might not even be able to accomplish what I'm attempting to do. I have GTR2 but I haven't played it in approx. 10 years. I always played offline by myself and will continue that. I broke out my old computer (windows XP) and started playing again. I did at complete reinstall and therefore lost all my mods from back in the day. I'd like to install the GTR2 HQ Anniversary Patch. I've downloaded it and nothing. Do I need to also download the GTR2 HQ Mods Collection ? I realize this is many years later, mod after mod. But I did read where a complete reinstall is required for the anniversary patch. Please let me know if I can accomplish this and if I can't are there any texture mods that I can download separately that would get GTR2 back to where it was before I did the reinstall.

you need to read both readme.txt and install.txt from the archive, if you don't speak english very well then you can use google translate or reverso : copy paste text in translator.

If you have never installed any GTR2 Anniversary Patch (now it's called HQ Anniv. but formerly it was 10th Anniv.) then you can overwrite your existing GTR2 install with the last v14.3.0. That said I will always give advice to make a fresh install to avoid conflicts with some rare mods.

Once installed you need to select HQ cars and tracks to see the upgrades otherwise you won't see any difference because base game is quite untouched.

There is a 500mb upload limit here so you need first to install GTR2 HQ Anniv. Patch then you can apply some extra textures from GTR2 HQ MODS COLLECTION (optional addon for GTR2 but main textures collection for Power&Glory3 mod). By example in previous versions of Anniversary Patch the HD Skies were included but now, as the Anniv. Patch is bigger, they are no more included due to 500mb upload limit, so if you want these HD skies then you need to install them from GTR2 HQ MODS COLLECTION. Note that I suggest you to install 2k version for your graphic card and not 4k Skies which require at least 1Gb VRAM video card.

Forgot to mention that after GTR2 HQ Anniv. Patch install, you need to run GTR2_SETUP.BAT to tweak options to your own taste : you can re-run this setup anytime you want to change options again :)
