Do love a bit of Imola.

JP Miranda - just couldn't get past you in the second race. Tamburello and Villeneuve (the two first chicanes) are the usual spots I can pass people here owing to how late I brake in the Merc. There were a few times I almost smashed straight into the back of you. Glad I didn't! Great driving mate, you deserved the position.

Threw it all away in Race 2 really - I pride myself on getting off the line well in these GT3s and this was no exception. Made it to 2nd quickly and was closing Nicolas Soi down for the lead. Got within 3 tenths and then put my back right onto the gravel at the first part of Rivazza and then took the **** coming out of the second part resulting in a big ol' spin - dropped down to 11/12th and it was all uphill from there.

Calvyn and Vic - had a front row seat for your scrap in R1. Was praying for you both to come together and then part like the red sea for Moses, or at the minimum lose enough time to bring me into it. You both did well to keep it clean and make it through to the end. Well done chaps.

Excellent track choice Goffik - definitely an enjoyable one. Thanks as always!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Great stuff guys, good fun racing! Had some really good fights in both races though ruined both all on my own with silly mistakes! The stewards obviously had it in for me given the drive-through in R1 and then the groundless accusation in R2 when I was trying to find my way out of a bloody gravel trap! So yeah, that's my excuse. :D

Be sorry to see the end of this series next week as they've been good fun. Some new beasts incoming though... ;)

The first stint was quite good, I had no pace at all and I was struggling a lot, but it was still very intense, the second I was put out of my misery at first corner and it was a long solitary race... but great combination
I am not sure what pressure is best for these cars...

Here we go gents:
