GTL Revival at Racedepartment

For all fans of Classic Racing, we are planning a revival of GT Legends with some historical significance. So, if you are a regular GTL driver, or are new to GTL, mark this date into your calendar, Thursday 4th December.

Details to follow very soon in the Club GTL Event section, but here are a couple of movies to get you into the spirit, and also dropping a big hint regarding the track.

Gah! You & Bram are swines! - The Mini & the Abarth were going to be my choices in TC65

In TC65, the Yanks, the Alfa & the Cortina are all going to fly off the shelves, so that leaves me the Jag, which I'll gladly take to swan about like I own the gaff. :good:

GTC65 was the hardest for me, virtually all my favourites are in this class - Alpine, Elite, Healey, Elan. After a bit of soul searching, plumped for the Elite. It'll go backwards down the straights, but it's such fun in the corners I don't care

. Now altered to a Healey after another Elite entry. :good:

GTC76 was a straight toss up between the Porsche 914-6 and the Capri 2600. Nearly went for Stuttgart's finest, but heart won over head and went for the Dagenham dynamo, it having been built less than 5 miles from where I was born and still live.

Wow Stuart, didn't take the opportunity to grab the GT40 or Pantera before the speed merchants do??

I had a quick squirt in the Escort today (after picking it), what a blast it is to drive around Goodwood. This track is superb for tail out drifting, pure fun in these things. Kidding the E Type doesn't waggle it'd bum around this track. :laugh2:

No mate, just the ones I enjoy driving (except the Jag although that's a hoot). :good: Even if I get a triple last, who cares? At least I'll be in line for a Sheeney

edit: Just seen another Elite entry, so I'll jump across to the Austin Healey in the GTC65's

Wil try and get permission from my BOSS to enter.

Should there be a racedepartment GTL server running 24/7? or is it just set up for Race Events?

No, we have two servers which cover all of the games we host, so the GTL Server will be setup when specific events are approaching, usually a day or two in advance.
