TC-65 Abarth TCR vs Healey Sprite & GTC-65 Ferrari 275 GTB vs Alpine thats 2 great combo's

So as the summer series is over we start a fresh. On Tuesaday we go old school with the Abarth vs the sprite this combo has always been good and what better than to do this at Zolder, The Circuit Zolder, also known as Circuit Terlaemen, is an undulating 4.011 km (2.492 mi) motorsport race track in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. Built in 1963, Zolder hosted the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix on 10 separate occasions in the 1970s and 1980s, as well as the 1980 Belgian motorcycle Grand Prix. F1 moved to Zolder in 1973 and with the exception of a race at Nivelles-Baulers in 1974, Zolder was the location of the Belgian Grand Prix until 1982. Zolder is the place where Gilles Villeneuve died during qualifying at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. The Belgian Grand Prix was held here only once more in 1984before returning to the shortened Spa-Francorchamps. But more importantly its home to GTL we have this track and its at its best in this sim. Every time we race it gives us great races. Full details of the event can be found here

Now onto Thursday we age going to give the league cars a run out and why not. They produced some good racing over the months and it would be silly not to use them again. The Mid Ohio track was opened in 1962 by Les Griebling and several Mansfield-area businessmen as a location for weekend sports car racing. In 1982, Mid-Ohio was purchased by Jim Trueman, a renowned road racer and the founder of Red Roof Inns. Trueman added permanent grandstands, amphitheater-style seating, garages with spectator balconies, a five-story media and hospitality center, underground tunnels and an updated paddock area. In 1990, the track underwent a refurbishment. A new retaining wall was built, the entire track was resurfaced, widened, and concrete was paved in the apexes of the turns to prevent asphalt deterioration. In addition, a straightaway was paved through the chicane, allowing for two different track layouts, the original 2.4-mile (3.9 km) circuit, and a new 13-turn, 2.258 mile (3.634 km) circuit. In 2006, the track again underwent extensive renovation. The track and pit lane were completely resurfaced and connectors were added to the track's famed Keyhole section to allow for three separate road course configurations. Also completed was the removal of concrete patches from the track, the relocation of the wall and guardrail at Turn 1, the expansion of gravel traps at the exits of Turn 1 and the keyhole, the replacement of all remaining old-style catch fencing, and the standardization of curbing throughout the circuit. These changes have resulted in a faster, safer, more competitive and attractive facility for drivers, riders and race fans. With this track created by VLM and the 2 cars chosen the lap times are close with maybe the ferrari having the edge but i bet there will be a alpine in the lead at some point in the race.
