I think i might be out too. I've come home and my gaming PC refuses to power on for more than a few seconds before conking out as if someones yanked the plug. :(

Andy

Well, that was a short race... I fell off the track (again) in lap 1... pity as I really like this track, very challenging and very fun!
Sorry for the dumb move at the start and for hitting you Andy, car in front didn't go and I tried to avoid it and lost control a little and ran into you.

At least I had fun practicing this, hope you all had a good race! :thumb:

I loose accidentaly my cokpit view and was unable to put it again and finally i stopped... but i would like to race more with this amazing sim. The track was beautiful and chalenging and i found a very good relaxing ambiance.Thats all i need! Thanks guys !:rockband:

Yesss......its fun :jumping:
Place four, not bad for a NOOB :drunk:

Even got a STOP and GO for speeding...me speeding :D
My PITSTOP went On and ON for ages, went in with 50 (years young) ...went out with 52, thats how it felt.

Broxman and I were very close.
Sorry to hear this Theo....see you next time all.

Thanks guys :)

Hans.

I was having a ball until I lost concentration at the bottom of the hill, faffing with the hud, stupid place to do it, hit the tyres and exploded in a ball of flame, hehe, good fun none the less, hope we do a TC65 race there soon, maybe even just Cortina's to make it a bit closer.

That was a good race...even if I didn't finish! :)

PRACTICE AND QUALIFY:
Quite good sessions. Didn't really change my setup as I found the default one for the Capri suited me fine :) Qualified 5th overall which is a personal best for me!

RACE:
Not a bad start however was knocked to one side as Theo lost the back end a bit trying to avoid a sloe starter, no worries there mate!
Managed to get back up to fifth and eventually forth until I pitted where I went back down to sixth. Made it to forth again but had to come in for a stop and go for cutting as I mucked up the chicane before The Mountain a few times. Managed to get to third after Simon lost it at Charlies and held the place for a few laps before stuffing the car into a tyre barrier and breaking my suspension, four laps form the end an my first ever podium, not a happy bunny but these things happen!

Overall:
A very enjoyable race at a demanding circuit (even with my retirement!) which I would love to race at again in the future. The highlight of the race for me was seeing Sam shout 'Go Left' in the chat as I came through Mansfield and in the distance I saw a cloud of black smoke as he did the same thing as I would do about 10 laps later lol!

Thanks for the good, and I must say very clean, race guys and thanks to those of you who turned up! I will see if Gareth and the guys would be willing to let me set up some more Race Nights in the near future - have quite a few interesting ideas :)

Sorry for anyone who had difficulties, thanks to all who turned up and to Andy n Gareth for organisation.

My race went well, I thought I was on for a sure 2nd... while Sam was still running... When I saw the Capri spanning the island between track sections (ablaze), I thought it might be one of the others... Didn't expect to be gifted a win, but I was, so I'll take it... hoorah... lol.
The escort seemed like a good choice after practice, and proved to be exactly that in the race. My strategy worked out well too.
Grats to Hans n Simon for their 2nd n 3rd respecively. And ofcourse grats on the 4th place, Hansje.. should I mention?, no one else finished.. lol..

Have a good one gents.

Thanks for setting this on up Andy, it was a blast. Did a PB in qualifying:jumping:
Race wise was going well for 6 laps in 3rd until my back end touched the dirt and off I went, wheel first into tyres...damn! Drove on until my planned stop, wheel vibrating alarmingly at points. Got a suspension repair which took ages, came back out in 5th. Suddenly I was 3rd but had Andy looming large behind me when...I flipped it:ambulance: Was surprised to see 3rd again so soon, sorry Andy and really bad luck. Thanks for the clean racing all, can't wait until the next one.
