The GTC72 speed rankings are as follows:-

Opel GT 190 (mod)
Ford Capri 2600
Nissan Skyline (mod)
Ford Escort RS2000
BMW 2800CS (mod)
Corvette 74
Porsche 911S (mod)
Porsche 914
Slowest

As always, you might well find that you disagree with some of the rankings above, that is to be expected due to driver preference, driving style idiosyncracies etc. I'm only really going to be using the rankings to eliminate cars from people who miss events a la the TC65 series recently.

OK slight change to the car line up

The slow Pantera just stinks the place up, and the big Pantera is the force in the Power Class, so I've removed the Panty and added the superb little Opel 1900 GT mod into the 72 class.

You say the Alpina and Beemer are almost identical in laptimes, so I was wondering why the Alpina isn't included? Surely this would simply add more variety?

Probably because Stuart has planned for 8 races (as per the TC65 series) and wants us to use each car available once. Hence, we only need 8 cars.

Warren is right, 8 is the limit for this, which is why the Pantera had to go before the Opel came in. I had to draw the line somewhere, and the Alpina missed out.

I didn't use the Alpina because I preferred the CS2800 - simple as that.
