I prefer the Pontiac HM. Did some practice yesterday and the car is fantastic; very powerful, yes, but easy to drive as long as you modulate the throttle and brake early enough. The shorter gearbox would seem the more suited to Watkins at first glance (4th gear closest to red line in max speed section), but the second shortest is easier to driver and, therefore, faster overall.
The car has lots of torque, so there is no need to be on high revs all the time as the car will accelerate well from mid revs. With the second shortest gearbox, I was only using 2nd gear at T1, 6, 8 & 9.
The default setup is very good, I only adjusted gearbox, steering lock (720º/21º) and the rebound of dampers front and rear from 1 to 2.
