But took out Firebird out for a spin, I do prefer the TA version a little slower but runs on rails

Next question is Satuerday or Sunday a better day for you guys. it will be run every other week/
this will happen after the clocks change to make it easier for the guys from down under al;so

@Rupe Wilson Saturday and Sunday is good for me so it doesn't matter, one question tho for this event are we allowed to use the HC Firebird or we have to use the TA ?

The model with the more skins (TA) is 449hp, The HC has 699hp
I'm just going with the 449hp one, easier to get around the track

I prefer the Pontiac HM. Did some practice yesterday and the car is fantastic; very powerful, yes, but easy to drive as long as you modulate the throttle and brake early enough. The shorter gearbox would seem the more suited to Watkins at first glance (4th gear closest to red line in max speed section), but the second shortest is easier to driver and, therefore, faster overall.
The car has lots of torque, so there is no need to be on high revs all the time as the car will accelerate well from mid revs. With the second shortest gearbox, I was only using 2nd gear at T1, 6, 8 & 9.
The default setup is very good, I only adjusted gearbox, steering lock (720º/21º) and the rebound of dampers front and rear from 1 to 2.

I did a video (already posted in video section also) of my hot lap after a practice session with no more than 12 laps:

As for a series, either Sat or Sun is fine with me!
If it's a two races per night series, I'll only make race 1 on Sundays, but I'll be unable to make some Saturdays as well... cheers Rupe!
