Of course I am in.

This kind of tracks I like the most, especially the Historic layouts of the tracks
they will give just a bit more to the atmosphere when you are racing ,it give's you the feeling that this is how it must have bin in that time.

Something else,I download Old Spa 14.1 Km trough the country sight,
layout of "67 also a conversion of GP Legends!
it would be Great to have a race there ( a Big Event)

There are quite a few of these historic versions of classic tracks around now, and they certainly suit the atmosphere of GTL. There are also some recent releases of older classic Aussie tracks, and one I am really hoping for is a GTL conversion of the recently released Bathurst 60 / 70's for rFactor. I'm sure it will be converted soon to GTL and it will be legal.

Please check the top post guys as the event has been updated - we are now running Race 2 at MoSport '77, download link will be up soon.

Download Mosport 77,

On No Grip are 2 updates available : Texture update
Camera update, there in the thread under the download by Umma gumma.

OK I am off in a few hours (leaving tonight at 2.00 ) to Austria -skiing.

By all see you in about a week

Hans

Glenn - to take your points in order:-

1. Yup tentative's absolutely fine :good:
2. The tracks aren't that fiddly, they're both fairly high speed with a couple of gradients and some crested braking points, and a nice long straight for the Beemer to stretch it's legs. Both are conversions from Grand Prix Legends, the 67 F1 sim.
3. The Beemer is pretty punchy, quite a lot of grip, very high revving engine.

Hope to see you there mate.

geez these new skins are shmexy Stuart! Well done.

Just had some fun at Mosport. Some incredible climbs and drops. Would be a good course in an Abarth, IF the abarth could climb the hills.

I remember Kylami now, from when I used to place GPL. Good track. LOOONG front straight.

Good stuff. BMW is almost rotor like in its revability!!!

There will be some hilly, Abarthy goodness pretty soon mate :good:

GPL is the daddy, IMO. With Kyalami, gearing is everything, because you need some length for, as you say, that long straight, but you also need to have some pull out of the slower corners.

I have to say, the Beemers another of those cars that never really got a look in for me when I was playing GTL offline, it never had that "magic" that made me want to drive it, not when there's Porsches, Panteras, Escorts and the like to choose from.

I am, of course, an idiot, because it's simply wonderful. So much so that, if there was a 76 league, it's probably the car I'd choose.

(the above statement is neither a clue nor an admission with regard to the upcoming RDHGP, by the way :wink2: )
