His ghost car had disappeared by turn 3. It was disheartening.

I know the feeling all too well. Every time I watch those top leaderboard guys, I always try to figure out where they've strapped the rockets.
But the two most important corners on Bathurst is T1, and the hairpin at the end of the downhill.
Both of those lead onto the big straights, so if you can carry speed through those, you're well on the way.

I have not been on for a couple of days and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms so I will be online this afternoon to practice for the two races I'm booked into on Sunday,if you wish you (or anyone) are more than welcome to join me I will go on Teamspeak when on.

had a problem with Teamspeak yesterday in that it said my mic was disabled but it was working fine, so if i'm on and you can't hear me you will know why, i'm not ignoring you lol
i don't know how to connect to online through Raceroom yet so you will have to guide me

There's an option in TS itself to mute either mic, sound or both.
Sounds like you might've muted your mic by mistake.

As for connecting to MP, it's dead easy.
Click 'Multiplayer', and you'll get a list of servers.
Scroll down until you find one called Racedepartment, and features Hungaroring.
Click *Go Race', enter the password, and you're golden.
(Assuming R3E decides to work, that is )

Well, a few laps on Monza Jr. is bound to be shorter than the same number of laps on Bathurst.
Unless of course you can do Bathurst in the same lap-times as Monza Jr.......
In which case, I may just kill myself.

Depends on my mood swings, working from 23:00 last night, and usually I have 2 things. 1. Most of the time I can't focus and do more bad than good, 2.rare occasions I enjoy the new thrill of a hard car and with some random clicks I make good progress.
I feel that powersliding down hill on Mont blanc with truck on one lane and trailer on the other may give me some experience for Godzilla )
