Sorry Yves, not able to reconnect to server. I seem to have everything tonight. Mini dumps and then the fatal Nvida graphics freeze. Don't know whats going on as never had these issues before the latest update from Simbin/Steam.

Oh well, I'll just have to try again next week.,,,

Sorry Yves, just as the field is starting to fill in, I have been informed by Team Principle that I have to withdraw. Mondays and Tuesdays are usually good for me though, will try to make the next one...

Well, that was hardly worth getting out of bed to join, my luck at Brands Hatch continues.

Qualified P5, looking promising, but I should have known to start last.
Was taken out from behind in turn 1, got going again only to find Tim spun at turn 2, no problem, plenty of room to go around the outside of him. Unfortunately Tim tried to reverse out of the way of on-coming traffic and pushed me into the wall as I tried to go around. Oops!! So I waited for everyone to get themselves sorted, and proceeded on, now waaay last. Worked up to P8 and had a nice run behind Dario for the last few laps, and about 200 meteres from the finish line, my screen froze. After an eternity it came back (with the usual scrambled graphics) so I think I finished, but don't really know.
That killed me for Race 2.
Hope you had some fun.

EDIT: Haven't had a game freeze in ages, so pleased to have that issue return, gotta love Race On and NVidea cards.

Anyone get a replay of Race 1, lost mine in the freeze??

First time in these beasts! thankfiully have great amount of laps here or it woul dhave been suicide.

Stayed out of the way (mostly) - Tim, sorry about the hit going into turn 1 in the first race - I knew I was in trouble when you started braking way earlier than my spot - tried to cut it inside but couldn't hold it.

See you all in 2 weeks (Daytona next week).

NV 9600GT with driver ver 186.18

I previously had a 9800GT and was plagued with freezes, then a friend gave me his 9600GT and the problem disappeared instantly, until now of of course. With the previous problems, I reckon I tried every tip posted on the internet to solve it.

Had my usual problems driving a sled for a car. spin spin spin. Warren, sorry bout that. I just got the car stopped and I saw traffic coming and wanted to get out of the way. after that I think I spun a couple more times, once into a wall, losing my splitter...Aggravating, but fun. I enjoyed driving and towards the end of Race 2, I got my groove on the last 3 laps

Had a great evening last night,winning both races.
Still have to look at the replay but at least i got the start right on both occasions.
Especially the 2nd race was really exciting.Starting from 8th.

Really sorry guys but I have to go into town and help my wife with something after work. Put me down as a maybe but it's a 'probably not'. I might make it back in time for qualifying.

Just thinking, is it possible to join the server during warm-up and start at the back of the grid?

it's not possible to join during warm-up, even if we wanted to the game doesn't allow it

Filip the problem with Mid-Ohio is that naturally the track give alot of people stuttering in the pit region due to alot of details there and with the recent patch the stuttering problem have increase even on default track so i'm thinking that it wouldn't be a good idea to run that track now.
