It's SunRed time! Well... if it's internet time, first, that is ;)

If you want to see how other RD members have designed their cars, feel free to download & install the RaceDepartment Race07 skinpack (v201507):

For more information on the pack and how to get your car added, see this topic.

It's a shame because I love the SunRed (hell, now we'll likely run them when Dennis is on vacation :D), but I'm out - my ISP's "specialist department" did not call me back and instead chose to close the support ticket stating there isn't an issue.
Of course, they didn't inform me about that beforehand, I waited for the call and finally called them myself, once more and now, the ticket is re-opened, once more.

Well... I've had a lot of practice before, nice pace and satisfying setup. In qualifying I did my best, setting personal record on this track, but it was enough only for 8th place (out of 10).

Start of the race - quite good, I took about 3 positions in the first corners, but I was distracted by my mum walking into the room and talking to me, then hit somebody in front of me in T3, he ran wide so I slowed down to give him place back, but still confused I run wide in the exit of the next corner going onto this crazy bump, I jumped, landed in the middle of racing line and then Dennis hit me, what destroyed his race. :( During next 10 minutes riding on P8 I was trying to catch Nelson, but we had similar pace and the gap all the time was 9-10 seconds. I enjoyed this chase. But having 10 minutes to go, batteries in my gamepad ran out, throttle got stuck at 100% and I hit the wall at the end of braking zone in T1 with about 245 kph... :O_o: Not a good day for me, and definitely not a good day for this gentelman who I hit after the start and for Dennis whose race was destroyed by me. I'm really sorry guys! And Enzo, thanks for your advice, I'll try to practice it ;)

Had a lot of fun, although I'm not going to write a detailed report.
I had the pace for a 3rd place in both races, but I'm not very consistent. Working on that though!

When there were about 5 minutes to go in race 2, I decided to keep Reggie Snr and Dennis company. It resulted in a fun final lap and this photofinish!

Dennis had a better exit but my Mosler's pretty nose won the duel. :)

I worked with my car and got comfortable with it but it was scary and I was really either off the pace or heating my tires. Still a PB for the car and track!

R1: As noted by Rafael, I took severe damage, aero from him and suspension from the wall on rebound. Out of the pit repaired and with really cold tires to finish.

R2: Pole, I went purposely wide in T1 allowing most everyone byand then watched everyone zip away. Got some fine laps in with Snr until the end when Enzo dropped back to give me a run. I did my best but he nipped me by .010 second!

Tough cars! Mini's ought to be fun.

Great finish Enzo!

I was able to get in some 40 minutes offline practise before the event's practise started. I grabbed the Corvette because I like such kind of cars. Lap by lap the fun increased and some setup tweaks made the car more tail happy, more agile and a pleassure to drive.

Q (1st): Had no clue about my pace in relation to Reggie Jnr as he joined very late. So my pole with a nice gap didn't make me feel safe at this point. In warmup I was proven right because his lap time was very close to mine.

R1 (1st): Had a very good start, so was able to take T1 without pressure. The whole race was a challenge by my own to drive it smooth and quick without a mistake, because Reggie Jnr was following close all the time and the gap increased only very slowly to finally ~ 5 seconds or so.

R2 (2nd): Started second last with Reggie Jnr in front. Reggie Snr had a blast of a start from last position to pass us quickly, so I entered T1 last. The next few corners was like cat and mouse with Reggie Jnr in a bunch of other cars. Unfortunately when braking for T5 or so, I pushed Reggie Snr a bit, so he went off. Not sure if I was a bit too late or he a bit too early, but I'm very sorry for that. :(Should've been more carefull. I let others pass me until Reggie Snr had passed me, so I could race on now. Now I made a few overtakes always a few seconds behind Reggie Jnr who also climed up the filed. Finally he was in P1 and I was able to close the gap 2 laps before finish. Reggie drove without a mistake, so even though I was a bit faster than he, there was no real chance to attack him. Worn tyres made it even harder. So a well defend and well deserved win for Reggie.
