p.s. Can I join at any time during the practice?

In this event, as long as you're in before the last 15 mins of practice it's fine. Normally it depends on who's running the event.

Reserve drivers will go into a pool and will be elligble to enter the server during the last 15 minutes of practice. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. A post will be made in this thread to indicate when they can jump in. Drivers who haven't joined the server when the reserves are called risk losing their slot.

I am always amazed how quickly these events fill up. Is there actually a feature that notifies me about new posts in e certain group ?

If you have an RSS reader you can subscribe to the RSS feed. Not sure how it works with a forum, I guess it just adds each new thread to the top, so you would get notified whenever a new thread is posted. Would be useful to have a light weight RSS reader which could just sit in the systray actually....

since most people skim the top post - i'd ask that everyone please re-read it since there's been a few slight tweaks to the way i run things, particularly in respect to reserves....

also, note there will be no 2nd server... once all the reserve slots are filled, we're closed for sign-ups...
