I had moments of hectic close racing fun in wee Marcos, the title of the event played out well with some horror show moments :D,overall some good stuff though, but i did feel i turned up for a gunfight with a knife with them pesky arcade speed-o-grip mobiles and the nippy as hell Rads ;).

Cheers Andrew you twisted evil man you!! :sinister:

Well ... after no podiums ever at RD, I pull off 3 tonight ... nearly had more but well ... ermm yeah, barriers and things got in the way of that :D

2 x 2nd places and a 3rd :peace:

Had lightening starts and made up places off line in nearly all events ... those rads go like bullets off the line when you get em right.

Monaco was class ... in an odd way.
Got nerfed in T1 from Gary ... NP's mate, it happens - I was a bit off line and off the throttle longer than I had hoped, so caught you off guard too eh? Ho hum.

Anyhow that bust the suspension and steering wheel was 20º off kilter ... but some laps later and I had picked off a couple of folk, and watched others go into the barrier ... so got back up to 3rd.
Olaf in front in a rad seemed to be struggling quite badly, and I reeled him in quick with my lee'llquicklybodgeitonthenight setup and twisted suspension (sucked through left handers) ... must have been a good combination somehow
I managed to get in front of Olaf, but a few seconds later my graphics driver crashed ... black screen for a good few seconds - but it came back, and I was only a few secs behind Olaf and car was somehow runnning ... so I booted it again, caught him and nabbed 2nd :woot:
Mad ol race for me that.

Amusingly I didn't practice at all nor have I done anything in rads before really, not least raced one in the wet on street circuits ... think I might adopt this as my new strategy

Just glad some of the faster boys had slower cars that is all I can say ...

Andrew ... if you do another sick and twisted event like this ... I might just sign up for it :chuck:

Thanks to all for a splendid yet mad evening ... :thumb:

spoiler: i am wasted, post will be filled with vagaries...

good times.. evening started out excellently... most amazing start EVAH at birmingham... pole at vara by 2 seconds (what???).... headed practice someplace else... and then two abominable races in the final rounds... by monaco twas sure feeling like a marathon! :D

got my first ever rd podium, so that was tasty... and some high place running.. makes me the happies!

cheers to all who turned out and extra creamy lashings for those that saw the whole thing thru! :in-love:
