btw i'd hardly consider 3 laps an endurance. =/ that's like what, just under 30min?

Not everyone knows the track, so you can't expect people to do a 1 hour race at the ring within days of getting it. Endurance just denotes the layout we'll be using since there will be 3 different ones.

Just wondering. Do you think it would be better to skip a practice session and just have a 45 minute qualifying session? I'm not sure how you can actually get in a proper qualifying lap in in 15 minutes....especially if you have a goof somewhere (assuming that you need to go once around the circuit before the timer starts).
