Craig ... just watched the replay and have got to apologise about the 180º spin thing right in front of you ... hadn't realised at the time that I caused you to swerve and go off - big big sorry mate!! :disapointed:

Thought I had got away with it and didn't know what else to do as the entire pack was coming at me from all sides, and I was sat at the exit of the blind bend ... Gary had already hit me head to head, and I figured just sitting there would have caused even more chaos, so decided it was stuntman getaway Downham time :wink2:

BTW: As I think I already said, I had a blast racing or chasing or blocking (very legally I hope!) Dave and Marty, and sorry for the flyby too at the top hairpin Dave, as I said in game, I braked a fraction late trying to catch you, but just as I did so the car skipped off the ground and traction was a thing of the past :shocked:
And Marty ... yeah I saw that bump moment in the replay ... no worries, and Ries like I said in my post was a proper gent and gave us 3rd and 4th back at the line :thumb:

Special remarks: this will be my second GT club race at Istandbul this week. Hopefully it goes better than the last

So you can tell us what's a solid time around here then?

I'm completely new to the track and fairly new to the cars - have just tried to learn the Aston and the BMW there, and I am faster in the Aston so far (best of 2:03) but it's harder work than the BMW. Tough track - that first corner in particular is a handful ... will be interesting trying to head through there two abreast without it going all wrong!

also gotta pull out of this one. wrist took a bruising in the cats last night gotta lay of the racing a few days while its strapped up . tried a couple of races this afternoon but i think its a no go. maybe put me on reserves and see how it pans out.
