well that was quite an eventfull race for me.

qualified 7th, got a nice start and past Chris of the line but was to caushes into T1 and dropped a place or 2. manged to fend of chris who was nibbling at my bumper. then 2 3rds round got punted of by Adrian.
rejoined near the back and manged to get back a few places, then i was behind Jamie and closing fast, unfortunatly part way round a corner i accelerated to get a run on him, only to catch his rear quarter which tipped him off, after saying "sorry" i waited for him to repass.
which dropped us both back a fair few places.
had realy nice battles to get back the places i had lost. then the pitstops started and i was in 7th. i had fulled to the finish and was only going to stop if tyres where needed.
and after not to long i got a tyre warning, so with Chris closing me down with his new boots. i pitted, i think i over shot my pit as nothing happend so i reversed a little, but still nothing so i went round 1 more time.
by this time i was 16th and came out just behind Ben who was racing with Michael, as i was a lapped car i didn`t want to spoil there fun. so was going to watch from a safe distance.
then i got a missed call of the mrs who was shopping and was after a lift if my race had finished, being though i new she had beer in the bags and i realy needed 1. i quit with a lap or so to go.

ps. where the blue flags working? i didn`t seem to get any while being lapped

Since GTR Evo came out I always run that, as it includes Race 07
But for this race, I don;t think it matters

Hi, well this race was my very first online race event ever.
And I am not dissappointed....

My intention was not to qualify so i could start at the back of the grid.
But somehow i got competitive and did a few quali laps.
Qualified 13th (if my memory serves me well), so i was nicely in the middle of the pack.
I was a bit slow off the start (guess i need to practice on that) but managed to loose only 1 spot before the first bend, but then someone braked to late behind me and hit me and some other cars (damaged my rear suspension too). A couple of cars spun out (including me) and when i came back on the track i was 25th (so i got my place at the back).

I started overtaking some cars, and when i entered the pits halfway through the race my position was 18th.
Did a nice and clean pitstop where i changed tyres and fixed my rear suspension and went back out.

The rest of the race i just finished my laps in a nice and steady pace and eventually finished 12th.
Did have a little battle though in the last two laps, overtook 11th then lost 2 places but managed to take back 12th in the last 3 bends.

So all by all i have to say, this is fun...and i'm hooked.
Couldn't ask for a nicer start of my online racing career.
Thank you guys for a wonderful race on Friday...
