im in, almost the best cars :D
btw there was no event announcement about it
Well let's face it the announcement is just an extra. I don't think any other club does it...
It is nice to be let known that there is an event going on. But there is a event calendar announcing all races throughout all the clubs.https://www.racedepartment.com/calendar/upcoming-races No biggy in my opinion. Rather have race results reinstated though. But hey hum.

I receive messages from assetto and rfactor clubs, used to be ams there as well. It is kinda "biggy", not everyone checks the calendar

Well that's funny or insulting as I don't receive any messages from assetto corsa or rfactor clubs. I guess I'm not worthy.:( :roflmao:

I'll be racing the Sushi roll against the Sausage.

All we need now is the Jaguar, Toyota, Merc, McLaren, Peugeot and the Mazda. I know there are more but these were the mains from what I remember.

Yeah, I can't easily do them from my phone so it had to wait until I was at my PC.

All clubs do it. Don't be insulted if you don't get them though. When set up the initial PM gets sent to everyone who has somewhat recently signed up for event within that club, using names found in event sign-up lists. After that it remains "as-is" until the RO updates the participants list. I only do this around once every 4-5 months, can't speak for other staff.

I'd forgotten about the club updates! I used to get them but just checked and haven't had one since January. I guess I wasn't joining races regularly enough! That said, because the updates across the clubs seem to... erm... vary, I find the easiest way to track events is to just hit the "Watch Forum" link on each sims Racing Club page and then I get a notification every time a new event is created. Seems to work well!

These cars are much, much faster than I thought. I bet if I was on La Sarthe, I'd hit 220mph easily. Still struggling to find that rear grip. I keep overcorrecting and swerving into the barriers when I get to the top of "Raidillon". "Blanchimont" is also hairy if you don't clip the apex just right, in the R80C at least.

Ok, against my better judgement I'm signing up - on the condition that someone can convince my Porsche not to kill me whenever I go near the throttle pedal, or the brake pedal.

And - can locate the budgie that's stuck somewhere behind the driver's seat!

Thanks :D
