F1 2010 Graphic issues

Hey guys,
I've got a big problem and I don't know how to solve it, I really don't have a clue.

I haven't played F1 2010 for a bit, in the meanwhile my graphics card die, well because I didn't have the money to buy a new one, I got one from my brother.
It's a good graphics card because for example I can play WoW on ultra again.

However, 2 days ago I started playing F1 again, everything is good, fine.. and then boom! all of a sudden in the last 3-4 laps of the race (career mode) my game starts shocking, lagging, acting crazy and it's unpossible to drive!

I've tried to put all of my graphic settings the lowest I could, and still in the last 3-4 laps it lags!

I have no idea how to fix this, and what mainly goes through my head is... why can it be flawless during like 2/3 of the race, and all of a sudden it starts acting like this.
Since I'm absolutely no professional about computers, I'm here to ask your help..

So please, has anybody got some suggestions or even the idea how to fix this?
Help would be much appreciated!

Sounds to me like it could be the replayfile that causes it, have you tried setting it to read only ?

How do I do that?
