i read some where that you cant have a track longer than 25Km in GPL, i hope they can find a way around this and get IoM finshed.

New Developments in Grand Prix Legends

October 2008 marked the 10th anniversary of Grand Prix Legends, the remarkable sim from Papyrus Design Group featuring the cars and tracks of the 1967 Formula 1 season. The exact release date is not well documented but September 27th and October 9th seem to be the dates most often mentioned.
Anyone who has followed the progress and development over the years will in all probability be familiar with the landmark advances achieved by the community modding this sim. The developments have been so groundbreaking and far reaching in GPL that you are forgiven if you missed one or two of the many advances. Things are proceeding at quantum leap speed and a lot of mods are in development. [...]

wow, does anyone still play this? I have a copy knocking around here, but could never get it to work in Vista 64 (or xp 32 for that matter!)

I still play from time to time. still love even though I am pretty crap. There are lots of utilities to get it working on more modern rigs. Not sure about Vista 64.

i have a copy,but on the xp before upgrade it was offputting that some much ffb was pushing against my arms.and the gearshifter program help only for a few months before it all the ffb came back,so i removed it.

but was a great sim.shame that it was destryed my confidence in reinstalling it.

I have the game. But till date I havent managed to get it installed properly. I wish someone would guide me. I have tried all sorts from different sites to get the frame rate working, quality graphics, getting G25 working. All have failed so far.

Tons of information here.

Just took me half a day but works great. I've got all mods working. May be a newer vers online now. Have to add 67 patch after this guide for track to work.
