Got GTL online today, some MP help plz.

I'm trying to make sense from the forums but haven't been able to bring MP to life.

I reg fine and connect to lobby but noone there and no servers.

I ran the GTL Fix but no joy. Not sure what to do now.

Do you have GTL on a disc or the downloabalbe version?

The download version by default points to a new on-line lobby which is not the one that we've recently been using here.

Try this:

- Go to your GT Legends folder and take a backup of the file LOCAL_IP_LOBBY.TXT
- Edit this file and change the contents (gtlsrv.race-game.com) into :
91.121.7.48

OK - Rich, as you've now changed to the current altbierbude hosted lobby, you will probably need to re-register with a new user name and password, as - if I've read the above correctly - you've registered on the Simbin lobby, then changed where your game is pointing to, but not re-registered.

Hopefully that'll sort it out for you

OK - you need to add the file in the download into your GTL installation, and then create a new profile - that new profile will have all cars unlocked.

Your existing profile won't suddenly get them, but the new one will.

You can - I think -
1. save your existing player folder away somewhere safe and then delete it from the GTL/Users folder.
2. add the cheat file
3. add a new profile with the same name as your "old" one to get all the cars
4. copy your plr file back in so your regisatration works OK.

One of the others will be able to give you a Yes/No on the above (I'm at work so no access to my GTL installs) but it's something like that
