Good sources of textures

I think we need a thread where people post links to sites where we can get good textures:

http://www.cgtextures.com/ has been mentioned a few times in other threads, but what isn't so obvious is that in the section 'grunge\brush strokes' you can get images which can be turned into worn painted lines and maybe even tyre marks (Saturation: 0, Negative Image, Increase Brightness and Contrast).

http://www.masterbuilderstore.com/ - old style textures, not made with racing sims in mind but can still be used to give circuits an aged look.

Got3d - trees, most of which have been taken with a plain blue sky in the background, making editing easier (in theory :o )

http://mayang.com/textures/ - various types, including side views of European cars which would look good at a distance. Also has bricks and tiles for buildings.

Who else has links to post?

Excellent idea..

Now we just need a bit of focus on which program is
best / easiest to use for texturing / re-texturing of BTB relevant objects.
(So the less gfx skilled guys has good opportunity to join inn as well).:coffee2:

Cheers,
Dac.
