Misc gbwS Reshade 1.4

Hey Peter, this new mod version is fantastic! The compatibility with the new dynamic light shaders from Ilya are truly great!

I have a question and a suggestion:

Is it by design that in the time between 0800 - 1800 I can set whatever weather I want and when setting a time outside of this window (0000 - 0759 and 1801 - 2359) The weather selection will be overridden and certain different weathers are selected instead ?

I have found that different weathers are selected (not just clear dynamic) when leaving the original Kunos time window.

Is this features still little "buggy" or how shallow we best use this feature?

Here is a little request:

Currently both the available tracks are not really optimized for the dynamic lights patch (missing any track side illumination) and the dynamic lights patch still heavy in early development will keep changing from revision to revision.

Because of this the darkest light levels from 2200 - 2359 (and I suppose the same is true for the early hours after midnight) are just too dark for racing at the track.

Could you adjust the light levels between versions accommodating the status of Ilya's dynamic light patch so even around midnight is still a hint of visibility (maybe this could even linked to the weather used - with clear sky there is usual still enough light to clearly see after eyes have adapted while in a heavy clouded weather without moon it can indeed be pitch black).

Are there plans to link light levels, Sun / Moon to time of year in some ways?

Are there plans to also include a more elaborate tweak to transform the sun into a moon for the night times as it has been done in the Assetto at night mod ?

I highly prefer to use just your mod as I prefer the image quality, texture detail and the realistic look you achieve.

NO. You will need the patched dll from the headlights mod!!!

Which dxgi.ini should we use, one in this pack or from HeadLight mod.
They point to different presetFiles

HeadLight Mod:
PresetFiles=reshade-smaa.ini

Gbw Reshade
PresetFiles=gbwS_reshade.ini

If you want to use gbwS Reshade only copy:
- dxgi.dll
- reshade-shaders folder
- system folder
from the headlights mod to AC main folder - nothing else. Then you will have always the newest headlight mods and a working gbwS Reshade!

Ilja uses Reshade for his mod, but he did not made any settings. You can switch off all shaders, but headlights are still working...

No problem with JSGME, Billy .... I installed Reshade and GBWsuite that way and it's working perfectly well.

Just make a folder "gbwSuite" or something in the MODS folder and copy everything from gbwSuite.zip and gbwS Reshade.zip to this folder...

since version 1.19 the headlight mod don't use Reshade anymore. Within gbwS Reshade 1.3 there is a old version of the Reshade dll which was used be the headlights mod.
If you will use gbwS Reshade 1.2 everything will be fine, the settings are the same...

With the reshade suite version 1.2 I have problems blocking the pc while loading the game. What is the problem in your opinion? The other versions of the reshade suite worked well. Problem is this version of d3d11.dll. -------reshade 3.3.2 problem i think------------------

With version 1.1 all run fine ( light patch 1.19 and reshade suite ) .

I'm having a problem where when i try to click on something in the reshade settings, it starts scrolling up and I cant click on it. Any ideas?

Just what you installed, Phil....

If you want dynamic headlights, download it here:
https://acstuff.ru/f/d/28-shaders-patch-dynamic-lights/

Install this mod first and then copy the following parts from gbwS Reshade to AC main folder:
- reshade-shaders (folder)
- dxgi.ini
- gbwS_reshade.ini
