Bloody Gamepad (Logitech Dual-Action) died on me this evening, my Trust Predator also seems to have gone Tits Up.

I've only really ever bought Logitech kit (the Trust was a trade) but seems they don't make the Dual-Action anymore. So possibly looking at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Analog-Controller-Hand-Cooling-Technology/dp/B0000TNJWM/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1367625864&sr=8-19&keywords=gamepad pc but does it work with anything above XP?, all my kit is either Win7 or 8 64bit. I could consider a Wireless pad but I'm not paying stupid money for one as it's something I very rarely use, don't really want to be spending more than £15.

I use an official Xbox controller for PC. (I don't own an Xbox 360 at all.) I specifically got it because it's pre-configured with so many games out-of-the-box, and it works on Windows PCs no problem. On your second link it's priced at 19.99, which is a bit out of your budget, but worth considering if you can stretch.

I use PS3 gamepads via a USB convertor but with PS2 controllers drying up Im about to buy one of these which a mate has; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/to-for-X...tors&hash=item3a75ccdf1a&_uhb=1#ht_2028wt_952

He uses a wireless Xbox controller with his W7, but I was going to use a PS3 on my XP.
This way when the controller breaks I just hit the pawn/2nd hand shops & find another standard controller for a couple of bucks & away I go again...
