INSTALLATION (Non-Steam users):

Update to v1.27 by running GSC Sync.

If you are having any trouble updating via GSC Sync, you may download v1.27 update package here: v1.27 Update package

NOTE: The above package is for users updating from v1.252. If you are manually updating from v1.21 you will first need to install v1.21 to v1.25 update package from this link, and then add the v1.251 & v1.252 update package from this link , before applying the v1.27 update.

Main changelog for v1.27:

Content

Car:
  • Added new kart series: 4-stroke GX390 amateur racing spec
Track:
  • Added Londrina kart track (3 layouts)
Features & fixes:
  • Updated terrain shaders & textures for Spielberg, Spielberg Historic & Interlagos Historic (other tracks to receive the same treatment in following updates)
  • Several sound updates & fine tuning
  • Several physics updates & fine tuning
  • Various AI fixes & improvements
  • Further optimization (F-Retro, F-Vee & trackside TV cameras specially)
  • Fixed bug with F-Retro shadows becoming corrupted and crippling performance
  • Upgraded Metalmoro MR18 windshield resolution in all cars
  • Fixed alpha in road lines sorting with 3D grass blades in various tracks
  • Improved scaling of mirrors in all cars (further mapping corrections still to be done)
  • Reduced default cockpit FOV from 55 to 50 degrees in all cars
Known issues:
Several code-related issues reported from v1.21 & v1.25 are still present in this build, as the code is still being rewritten to eliminate most of the main issues and introduce new features. This is expected to be finished for v1.30 coming up next. For that reason v1.27 has the following known issues:
  • Bug in the scoring in championship mode for all series;
  • F-Extreme can occasionally disappear when hitting 8th gear in multiplayer;
  • F-Extreme & F-Reiza tyre restrictions are not applying in pitstops;
  • Setting grid position (when qualifying is turned off) does not work (always start from pole
  • Dedicated tool does not work from Steam version (does work from NonSteam install)

not to bang on but did the mini bonnet get fixed? fact its not there in cockpit view.

I think regarding physics, is that they looked in to making the tyres break traction easier./
Physics have evolved consistently to from build to build. In v1.25 the tyre physics was updated to the latest specs and this would have improved handling substantially. Aero also has been refined.

There is another small refinement coming up for v1.30 which will cause tyres to break traction a little bit more easily than currently happens in v1.25.

It has been added yes, even though it should not be in sight from any possible driving position - to stop people asking if nothing else :p But it has no effect on the physics whatsoever. Bringing the Mini up to the spec of the recent tyre model developments however does, and it´s part of the physics changes in this version.

Guilherme - most cars have received several small adjustments, it´s a big list of small tweaks. I´ll be glad to clarify any car that you might have specific curiosity about though.

impressive work guys.:)

What cars are still runing old tyre physics/spec then, out of interest ?

None - not having the updated Mini was an oversight from v1.25. They are all up to spec now.

The changes to the Stock V8s have been very small, just a tweak to longitudinal load sensitivity and front aero. Should the front a bit more responsive and cause traction to break a little easier than in v1.25.

Please, I have a league racing with the F3 tonight. What hás changed in this car regarding the phisics?
Also, whats the ideal tire pressure and temperature for this car? Cant seem to find this Information any where.
Thanks

Tyre slip angles have been tightened slightly, which should make them feel a bit more precise and slide a little less. Not a big change anyway. Ideal pressure depends on the track, the default setting is always a good starting point. Check the mid temperatures on the tyres for reference.

Oscar: the new kart spec is a combo of a race chassis with used hard tyres (considerably less grip than either tyre compound in the 125cc classes), and a GX390 engine (same as used in the rental karts) tuned up to little under 20 HP. It´s a very popular branch of karting in Brazil these days due to being fairly close to proper race karts and very affordable - indeed, a few Reiza & Extreme members race them for fun at Londrina regularly - you can now race against us in the sim :)

Now that's not quite true ;)

Look at the green bonnet on the bottom left of the windshield! :laugh:

(the Mini drives beautifully now, by the way, it seems more predictable on fast turns)

Heh :) To clarify, I meant in real life, the race seat is lower so even a tall driver wouldnt see the bonnet in front - it´s the reason we didnt add it to begin with. In-game you can go as high as you wish of course, even to the roof ;)
