Game sees G27 but cant assign controls

I have this huge issue with GTR2 i finally got the chance to experience this fantastic game with a wheel set up only problem is that the game only sees my keyoard and i cant set controls for the wheel ;_; i hope i will have better luck here than on steam

That's strange, it should be supported natively.

Are you running the Steam version or a DVD version? I use the Steam version and think it worked with my G27 back in the day.

Does your G27 work with other sims right now?

It does work with others like dirt rally and project cars 2 it's also the steam version

How many controllers and/other input devices have you connected? GTR2 only supports 3 devices, if you have more only the first 3 in your controller settings will work ingame

it's just the wheel and peddles since i shift with the paddles. I managed to fix it though it was something wrong with my g27 software so i had to reinstall it.
