F1 2010 Game data corrupted.(PS3)

Hi guys, im playing through my career in F1 2010 (Ive reached Valencia) and i turn on the PS3 but my game wont load because the data is corrupted! This is the second time its happened. My PS is 5 wks old so im wondering is it a game glith or console glitch. I love the game but after going 9 races through a season of long weekends im not sure i can devote the time to do all those practice, qualifying and race sessions!
Can anyone shine a light on whats happening?!

CM just claimed they fixed it with the patch, but they were lying lol

It has happened to me (PC) after I installed the patch, and many others have reported this as well. Nothing wrong with your PS3, it's just CM can't seem to get save games right. I'm afraid there's nothing you can do but restart a new career if you're on PS3. (PC you can at least back up your savegame)

I'll backup my savegame from now on.

btw, on PS3 you can backup your savegame from xmb to a pendrive.

Can you do the same on the Xbox? I have looked on the system area and there doesn't seem to be any save game data on it's own. Is it saved together with system files or something?

thanks guys. im not online so i cant update the game with any patches. its very frustrating. i love the game but i want to complete the full season! Ive found the save game section on my PS3 and it shows my last save is on the hard drive but the game cant load it!
