G29 Centering Spring Problem

Hello,
Been having a itch for ams the last few days and decided to setup my G29 to do some AI races. After doing a few laps with the stock cars I realized that the centering spring does not disable I tried a few different cars and got the same result. I go to the settings and its seeing the wheel as a digital gamepad etc when I do detect it detects it as a G HUB G29 wheel but cant load a profile so I manually pick G29 check everything and calibrate etc. When I load up a car same thing. When I restart the game it diverts back to detecting the wheel as a gamepad.

Ive tried disabling the centering spring from the ghub but ams turns it on again.
Ive tried opening both as admin and only ams as admin no effect.

Im really enjoying ams2 but I want to play ams and it used to work no problems.

Anyone having similar issues ?

The last time you played AMS1, was it before you installed AMS2? If so then the problem might be with AMS2 installation, it's been known since PC2 release that the engine tends to make changes in G29 registry. You can read more about it in this forum post:

I hope that helps!
