G25 Shifter paddles fix/upgrade

After a long time my shifterpaddles were not really registrering every shift
It turned out to be the metal "spring" plate that hold the shifter paddles that get a bit tired, metal fatigue it's called.
The paddles do not come back so strong & tight anymore.
If you let go of the paddles to suddenly they bounce back a little even.
Giving you the double shift or no shift at all.

Here is the fix, or upgrade..
I put 2 little coilsprings in to push the paddles back.
The coilsprings i got from an old RC model i had lying around, but any good hardware store probably has some too..
Luckely they are yellow, so easy to see on the photos.

I drilled one hole where the spring must come out.
One smaller hole to secure the spring with a small screw.

The resistance is a bit higher, even feels better than when i just bought it.
Also releasing the paddles to sudden is no problem anymore.
Even if the flaps of your G25 / G27 still work i could recommend this little mod.
Feels much more real and sturdy.
