GT5 G25 pedals with DFGT

Why would anybody want to do that? I consider the G25 to be a better wheel than the DFGT.

My G25 wheel stopped working so it was useless, so I modded the pedals! If I get another logitech wheel. Maybe the pedals can be used as a backup. I have heard that Logitech could be in production of another wheel, since the G27 has some issues.

Weren't the mechanics of both G25 and DFGT identical at wheel side? AfaIr inside sim tv revealed that. Only amount of buttons and pedals itself are different?
Hopefully one can set clutch to a button on wheel at DFGT like in ISI games, that would be perfect. But for sure one can't adjust setting parameters real time while racing other than DFGT.
