The Full Throttle Series heads to Michigan tonight with only three races remaining until the chase. Chad Cole leads the standings by only one point over his main rival Landon Huffman. The top eight in the standings are pretty safe foregoing any major problems in the next three races. The real battle begins around ninth on back involving four drivers. RJ Williams and Dave Lanza are ninth and tenth respectively with only 20 points between Williams, Lanza , Jay Horton and Eric Arnold in 12th.

The wildcard battle is just as exciting as drivers with one victory in 11th thru 20th are Horton, John Gregorio, Steve Ritter and Jimmie North. Last weeks winner RC Rigdon has an outside chance with one win and 25th in standings. Rigdon is 71 points outside of top 20. Drivers battling for widlcard are hoping that three time winner Williams will hold on to his top ten in standings.

One interesting note of interest involves Horton and his substitute driver Scott Heckert. Heckert who dominated last weeks race at the Glen until having a late race misfortune, would have given Horton his second win in the wildcard. Reports coming in today have RSR league driver Scott Brotherton will be subbing for Williams in the 21 car.
