The Marek and the RWD were community designed cars, I imagine they have kept them in as a nod to the support from the first game and they are pretty cool looking. Plus its a free license.

If they took them out there would only be 1 LMP1 car (which is 3 years out of date), and 2 LMP2 cars, (one of which is 4 years out of date). So tbh, they are required as fillers. The LMP content is again very very thin on the ground.

The car list padding with these "endurance" versions is odd too. Most of the GT3 cars do make minor modifications for big endurance races, but nothing major. Bentley adds LED strip lights under the bumper, and the Audi has some light modifications. Oddly, they don't have a McLaren 650 Endurance, but that has the most obvious endurance modification as they add big spot lights on the front bumper. Same with the Aston Martin - that gets huge lights in the fish mouth.

It's a very odd car list, and I'm disappointed with the LMP1 list again. Even if they bring along one great new one in the TBA, it's still an odd imbalanced class. LMP2 isn't great either. GT3 is looking pretty good.

I'll be waiting to purchase this one after being burned by the absolute car crash that was the Xbox One version. And the utter plane crash that was the customer support for Xbox One customers.

Seriously? Marek & RWD still in the game?
Same though's... Designed by community yes, but... I drove those in PC1 a bit yes but they should have like check option to include them in the race or not. Quite big immersion killer if you dont want them in the race. Othervise roster look's kinda, ok. But... Yeah, actually replicating le mans and GT3-Class and "Nordschleife-simulation" are my interestion's with this one. Everything else goes in casual-gategory with this, game/sim.

Im the only one that wanna see the full track list now too?
Just imagine those group C through: Fuji,LeMans,Long Beach,Daytona......
Wow no im thinking about the game and the season pass :p

Yep, this is like getting a car in rFactor and count as a single one for each genstring variation :D
Still almost all of the main current gen GT3 are there, only missing the C7 I think. First game that has this many at the same time I guess.
Now if they bring more tracks in DLC will be great. Current list with only one Aussie track... :(
They don't have the jag but this easily beats any other sim in terms of GT3 content.

Well... Aside from the '98 GT1, thats almost everything, we just saw in pCARS1 already, isn't it? Despite a few other and the uninteresting cars...

Just qouting myself... Despite a few other and the uninteresting cars...

Is there seriously nothing interesting to you in that list? What other categories would you want that isn't represented? I can think of the odd car here and there I'd like to see, but the only category that I want which isn't represented is late 60s Formula 2. There are so many incredible cars in that list.

The Bentley Continental GT3 was in PCars 1. The 2016 car is the same car. It's considered a "last generation" GT3 car in VLN and hasn't received any significant upgrades. The livery one of the photos has the car in is even the old livery.

Nevertheless, there's two 2016 Bentleys and one 2015 Bentley. Whether they did that just to up the car list everyone should judge for themselves.
