A shame about the non-changeable-ness, but I think those conditions made quite a good race. :rain:

I got a storming start compared to those in front and moved up a few places. Managed to avoid incidents in the first lap and ended up running in a group with Neil G, Carlos, Alex and Graham for most of the race, with a bit of variation around the pits ;). Very careful race overall. Only one minor incident when I spun Neil after he moved directly in front of me (sorry), but very little I could do about that one :p

Then a very close race at the end with Ben, I very nearly had it at on the last lap but we both made mistakes and Ben came out ahead. Less than half a second between us at the end though iirc :smile-big:

This should be a good race 2nite. Loved driving the 997 here when testing it out earlier in the week. Short laps, so the GT's will have to watch their mirrors and the Proto's will have plenty of traffic to deal with:good:.

Oh and a excellent track. Fell in love with it in SCGT, then again during my first week of iRacing and had a gr8 battle with Rob Goldthorpe for 1st and 2nd in the Mini's:).

@Klyde: these events are to test and prepare for the league. I want to know how 40 cars devided over 4 classed handle here.

For the first round i have tested all the available tracks and those that worry me still need to be tested online. Lime Rock is one of them.

Well thank you Andrew. You really helped alot of us really enjoy and get into RD. The mini events is where I met most the guys I talk to on RD.

Not only fanstastic racing also major lol's on TS. THE best event held on RD.

I think everyone should thank andrew for the time and effort he put in to full fill our need for our friday night fix.

Also Rickard... complete lack of respect for the friday night guru. You nor your friend will ever be able to hold an event as good as friday night minis. You have just got yourselfes alot of enemys on RD pal. Good luck with all that yeh :good:
