really enjoyed that - a small grid but a good one all the same.
Qual 4th

race1 um... yeah... note to self - check wheel orientation at start. i could tell something wasn't quite right but only when i speared right at the lights did i click 360deg too much wheel. straight to the back (9th) but fought my way up to finish 5th with 3rd and 4th in sight at the line.

race2 4th again, better start but the extra wing i was running to take more speed on the winding sections stopped me moving up a place from the good response to light change. still eventually moved up to 3rd then back to 5th as yves and claudio came past (joined by an invisible rope) kept close to them and started to pull away from cars behind. handed 4th place when mr beermonster went cross country. was settling for 4th which after the hols i was very happy with when yves made an uncharacteristic mistake while chasing down the lead. 2sec gap - upto 4 at the end of that lap then another mistake allowed me to take 3rd. final 4 laps was cut and thrust from the two of us. yves deffo had the straight line speed but either damage or tyres (or lack of) meant i could capitalise in the twisty stuff. last lap last corner and i could see yves lining me up. i held middle of the road and thought hold the apex as long as possible - he'll need to go around me then a drag race for the line... yves went too deep and i crossed 3rd. happy bunny.

gr by everyone. quali well respected (no chat at all) long time since i've seen that!

thanks to all for race and rd for organising.

Qual: 3rd - Rather ok considering the speed that both Yves and Claudio had today.

First race: 7th - Good start, but ran wide in the first corner. Was going up and down the order there for a while but Luis both turned in to me on the straight and pushed me straight in to the tires when I was pulling up alongside him. Not very nice really. Anyway, 40-odd seconds in the pits and I was back on track. Got my self in to 6th with quite a good gap down, so I wanted to have some fun with some lift-off oversteer. Shall we say I had a bit too much fun.. Ended in 6th.

Second race: 1st - Good start. Built a large gap to Yves and Claudio. They were getting closer and of course I brake too late and go through the gravel at the first corner. Luckily, Yves spins in the same corner. Claudio gets closer and closer, but I managed to hold on to first with just over half a second to spare.

First race, first lap, I thought I took someone out in the Arrabiata turn so I thought to stop, ended up spinning off the track. There was no one waiting so I took off in last place, Oh well! Had a fun drive to the end, what happened, the fast cars couldn't stay fast for the whole race?

Race two, Frank H bumped into me coming out of the Arrabbiata ran off and flipped but got back upright. Once he got going in the ight direction I took off behind him. After following him closely for two laps I watched him miss the apex at Savelli and couldn't find a way around him, oooph! A quick pit to let Frank catch up got me a "speeding in the pits" stop n go and I followedthat with am actually needed stop for suspension repairs after driving around slowly[ ya know how that goes]. I caught up with Louis, I think, and followed him to the flag.

GREAT TRACK! Not the races I expected, lol!

Thank you Yves, Thank you RD, time for another donation!
