this twas fun - lasted about 2 hours before the understeering into the wall at the start of the mulsanne and nuking the engine.... didn't feel like 2 hours had passed... :smalltear:

my race was completely bollocksed by the re-start though.... i was mightly pissed off about it at the time... but don't really care now.... i got a fecking stop and go on the restart - i have no idea why - something to do with all the jostling and slow place changing on the run up to mulsanne... still wasn't sure whether i should have been 6th or 7th, so stuck with the latter... came in to take it at the end of lap 1 or 2 - when i was in 3rd!! - and hit the pit wall whilst not paying attention... after that i was nowhere and seething and requiring another pit to fix the car...

i understand why we restarted... but it was a shambles... and, yet again, further concreting of my opinion that rolling starts HAVE NO PLACE IN THIS GAME.... :bleh:

anyhoo... cheers eric... sad i didn't manage to get to more of these... hope the series returns before next summer.... :wink:

yea mh, no worries dude... i was just pissed at the circumstances and the way it all changed to "let's start at mulsanne" about 30 seconds before the race session...
