DiRT Rally Fov mod?

Hi, does anyone here could mod the Fov?
I don't like the pilot or wheel animations, so i'm using the other internal view, but it's to close of the windshield, so is it possible to make it a little back or remove driver and wheel animation of the other?

ive been looking thru the files to see if i can tweak these too.No luck so far.

i also hate the cockpit view it looks flat and lifeless, not so much like pcars or even rf2 cockpits. i like the dash cam but like you would like to bring it back a tad.

These can be tweaked. You need the bxml converter from here :

http://petar.outer-heaven.net/downloads/

This will let you change the xml from binary format to text so you can edit them.

Then you convert the edited xml back to binary format again with the same tool.

I've done the Lancia Stratos & Escort Mk II so far. Made really for triple screen setups, but should still work on single screens :

To install, go to \Steam\SteamApps\common\DiRT Rally\cars\models\ and open the appropriate car folder.

Back up the existing cameras.xml & extract the one from the zip.

The in-game FOV slider will change it from an fov of 45@0 to 55@1 for the Escort, and 65@1 for the Stratos.

Not perfect, but will do until Codies sort it out themselves with proper fov values & seat adjustments.

To install, go to \Steam\SteamApps\common\DiRT Rally\cars\models\ and open the appropriate car folder.

Remember & back up the existing cameras.xml file first

I really like the updated dash cams so far. Is there an option to disable the steering wheel in the cameras.xml file? I have converted the files and looked through it but so far nothing looks like it could disable the virtual wheel.
