Turn 10 Motorsports has officially unveiled many new cars for its upcoming Forza Motorsport 6, including the full field of Formula E's Season 2 competitors.

The Xbox One exclusive will be the first console game to feature the entire field of the Formula E 2014/15 season.

As such, Forza Motorsport 6 will have ten Formula E cars at launch, along with other 27 cars that have been unveiled today. The news comes straight from the official FM6 website.

The included Formula E teams are: #55 Amlin Aguri Spark SRT_01E, #11 ABT FE 01, #10 Trulli Spark SRT_01E (the website says Trulli is Swiss, but he's Italian through and through), #99 NEXTEV TCR FE01, #27 Andretti Formula E Spark SRT_01E, #23 Venturi 1, #21 Mahindra M2Electro, #9 e.dams-Renault Spark SRT_01E, #6 Dragon Racing Spark SRT_01E, and #2 Virgin Racing VIR 01E.

Forza has a history of choosing interesting cars - but also packing them into expensive DLC!!

The last Forza I spent time with - 4 - didn't even have the heart to do a 'complete edition' - wrapping-up all the DLC into one game (3 did this) - and acquiring all of it's content would run you a lot of cash!!

Did Forza 5/Will Forza 6 fix the 'joke' offline racing too? In 4 you could race any circuit with any car but you had no choice over what your opposition was (often very random weird selections were made) and every race was 3 laps - like it or lumpit - that was poor form.

450 is still quite a small amount compared to Gran Turismo. I mean I don't understand why recent games haven't had the extensive car list of older games like Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo is packed-to-the-gills with shitty cars you'd never want to drive tho - and that's before we get into it's awful AI and generally dated gameplay

Forza has always thrown in some nice leftfield choices and made it's cars handle in more interesting ways - it's AI can drive too (GT's just runs around crashing into everything - it's woeful)

Considering Forza4 pre-dates GT6 by quite a way, it's clearly the more advanced game. It's just their nasty attitude to customers with nickel-and-dime DLC and the requirement for XBL which deters me from playing more of it tbh - wheras I couldn't face 10 more mins with GT6

Wait, doesn't rFactor2 already have this mod? They just shrunk them and named them Formula R/C. lol

Yes, I watch the series, I'm a die hard race fan - doesn't matter how they look or sound, I'm a glutten.
