FM3 Forza Motorsport 3

Forza Motorsport 3 (Turn 10 Studios)

Anyone have any info on this game? I have looked around but not really found anything about it. Besides Wikipedia.

Seems that the wiki page is based on this article from Gamespot:

GameSpot learns third racer is definitely in the dev garage; purportedly leaked documents say game will be two-disc, 400-car, 100-track epic.

After speaking with a source close to Microsoft, GameSpot can confirm that Forza MotorSport 3 is currently in development. Set for release sometime next year, the racer will continue Microsoft's highly customizable racing series after Forza 2's commercial and critical success on the Xbox 360. The first Forza was released for the original Xbox in 2005 to similar raves from reviewers.
GameSpot's source would not go into further detail, saying only that the game was several months into development and would be "massive." However, more information on the game may have appeared as part of a huge information leak sourced to market research group Intellisponse.
Though Intellisponse and Microsoft are declining to comment, a series of documents attributed to it on the NeoGAF forums appear to outline a Mii-like avatar system for Xbox Live and a new 360 motion-sensing Karaoke game. They also appear to reveal exactly how massive Forza 3 is, saying that "due to the number of cars and tracks, the game will be sold as a two-disc set."
How many cars and tracks will Forza 3 boast? According to the documents, the game will sport more than 100 tracks and over 400 cars with "near-limitless customization options for car tuning and custom artwork." The documents also promise the game will introduce several new racing modes--drag, drift, oval, point-to-point--as well as new online community features.

So it might not be the exact title to name it forza 3, but for the majority it will be the sequel to forza 2 :)

Forza 3 announcement

Even though Microsoft is yet to confirm the development of Forza Motorsport 3, the existence of Turn 10’s newest Xbox 360 racing title is probably the worst kept secret in the gaming industry. Back in 2008, first posters and infos were leaked, suggesting that Forza 3 will contain over 100 tracks and 400 cars.
During the past weeks, leaked infos could be found all over the place as the Forza 3 logo was “accidentally” included in a Microsoft press conference in Brazil and Amazon already listed the game’s official strategy guide.
Most interesting is a new promo shot that shows the Circuit de la Sarthe at Le Mans, together with the date 12th June 2009. That date is Friday before this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours, a break day that is typically reserved for all kinds of press conferences and announcements. Will Turn 10 announce some Le Mans related partnership for Forza 3 that day? Microsoft is already sponsoring the Peugeot Sport squad and recent rumors suggest an upcoming promotional partnership with Audi who are going head to head with the French manufacturer in this year’s race.
We don’t have to wait until mid-June for first confirmed Forza 3 facts as Microsoft is expected to announce the title at this year’s E3 expo in early June.

Hmmm seems that microsoft is inspired by the background of the RD forum :)

Forza fans can jump up and down now because Forza 3 was announced at today's Microsoft keynote at E3. They have set an October 2009 release date and the game features things such as 60 frame per second gameplay, 400 cars, the ability to create own replays and a new paint editor. Stay tuned for more news from E3.

Hey guys, with the announcement of Forza Motorsport 3 at E3, the official website has now gone live along with a bunch of screens and a video. I honestly didn't expect this but Forza Motorsport 3 looks extremely amazing.

Let's start of with the details

The game goes on sale some time in October 2009 at US $59.99 or if want the Limited Collector’s Edition, you can get it for US $79.99. As was mentioned a year back in a leaked survey, the game will feature 400 super cars and 100 real-world race tracks.

At the center piece of the game is the beloved Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro. Just like what EA did for the Nissan 370Z in NFS: Undercover, Forza will be debuting the R8 for the world to "test drive" before it goes on sale in show rooms across the world in 2010.

For more info it its entirety, check out the official Forza site just launched a moment ago here.

Check out the first video from Forza Motorsport 3 (make sure to view it in high definition). Also take a look at the eye candy screens below. Check out the official site to see the entire batch of photos.
