Turn 10 Studios have deployed an update for Forza Horizon 3, bringing a substantial number of fixes and enhancements to both the Xbox One and Windows 10 editions of the game.

The new patch addresses several stability issues with the game, not least of which is the well known microphone issue on PC and the Xbox One crash when pausing the game mid-action. Additional to the general fixes include a nice CPU optimisation for PC users running four core setups, improvements on the occasionally lacklustre FFB, new Horizon Edition cars added to Wheelspins amongst many other enhancements.

Being a hardcore PC Sim racer / Driver I have been watching a lot of You Tube videos of FH3 and I would have to say I am very tempted to the dark side with this console Game...lol

It's quite a remarkable open world car game, beautiful terrain, lighting, weather, car lineup and a massive feature list. And all I play are primarily racing sims, nice change.
What I like is FH3 doesn't force you to play a certain way - pick your own pace! I just love driving the countryside in an old classic listening to tunes, street racing in a muscle car, or a cross-country blast through the outback in a trophy truck, buggie, or rally monster!

I bought the Deluxe Edition of FH3 and from what I and a friend who also purchased it have experienced, this game is yet another broken, poorly-ported shitshow from Microsoft Studios. After the 3 aggravating days of downloading it, as I have 4.40gb down internet and I screwed it up several times , I got into the game and as I, like many first-timers, got the hang of the physics and gameplay found it had several glaring performance issues. The most common problems we encountered: massive frame drops, game-breaking graphical errors, unexplained crashes, missing textures and other broken features. Now the fact me and him both run Mid-tier AMD rigs, we experienced issues with drivers, even after the latest update, 16.10.1 if you did not know. Along with performance issues, the two of us came to have a great hatred of trees and drivitards as they are a hindrance when you are going through a drift zone, speed trap and other XP stunt areas. Plus, they cause racing to become a massive flustercluck of biblical proportions and as there is no option to remove traffic during race events It becomes frustrating very quickly . Now before I have an aneurysm, I must say the act of building a car to your specifications or performance high is the most enjoyable things ever and when you can race properly it also very enjoyable and rewarding. Though it may be a length of time until this problem child of game can be enjoyed to it's full potential, I am very certain many will enjoy it.

Day one performance was horrible, but the last 2 patches have all but erased any issues I had, probably the best looking racer around.

I think this game is great. The graphics are fantastic. And the physics are just good enough to not feel like its on rails(NFS series), but arcade enough to make it fun as hell. I just kick back admire the graphics and play this with a xbox one controller. If i want a serious drive, ill just boot up a real sim. The latest update got rid of a lot of stutter but its still nowhere near as optimized as Gears of war 4.

Been playing this game almost non-stop, I've probably amassed more cars in this game than I ever did in the previous games in the series combined. I also can't wait what the first expansion will be :D

I feel sorry for all those on the PC who still have to deal with the technical issues as an Xbox One player though...

The latest patch does help greatly, I play max out since day one but had to turn off msaa. With the latest patch I am able to turn msaa to 2x and get barely any frame drops. I don't OC my gpu and I am playing in 4k.

Dude, can we help each other out with the forzathon coming up please ? to win the car you have to win a drag race. I could let you win and you could do the same to me. I have yet to play online, to get that car you have to win a drag race in the car meet. Is the car meet random people or can you set it up to play against someone of your choosing ? if we can do it with someone of our choosing, I would really like to help each other out.

I don't have XBL Gold unfortunately (probably won't get it anyway), so I can't help you with that. Sorry :(

We* still experience loads of "disconnected" and ctd issues on PC, so looking forward to more patches!

Bought it a week before release through the Windows store so I could have it on both PC and console.

Still haven't managed to fire it up to have a crank.

On my PC it continually downloaded 26.6GB of game data, then crashed, reset, and started again, Until it used up our entire monthly allocation of internet.

20 days without the internet, and everyday I had to re-explain to the wife why she couldn't watch Netflix...
