FSR Season 2013 will kick off in the upcoming weekend, traditionally taking place at the streets of Albert Park. The 13th running season in the league's history will again feature 3 racing series: World Championship, World Series and World Trophy. The season will also see the rFactor simulator platform being used for the 8th consecutive season. The main changes the teams face are the ban of refueling during races and a mandatory 2-tire compound rule, which will be in effect starting from Round 2.

The World Championship grid has seen little changes in terms of top drivers, as 3-times world champion Bono Huis lines up for yet another season with Precision Motorsports. The 2012 vice champion Morgan Morand will meanwhile also continue for GhostSpeed Racing – no doubt season 2013 will again feature a gigantic battle between the two stars. Previous World Championship winners including Patrick De Wit, Yannick Lapchin and Blair Disley are also all present to fight for victories for yet another season.

All races will be be broadcasted live on Simrace.TV, starting with the World Series on Saturday 17:30 GMT, followed by World Trophy on Sunday 11:30 GMT, culminating into the World Championship, starting on Sunday 16:30 GMT.
