Cars Formula RSS 4 by Race Sim Studio

This car has the most rubbery tyres I have ever seen in a AC car.
I really can't understand why kunos has the plastic tyres in some cars like escort for example. Is there some limitation that I can't imagine? Why modders can do this? @Gergo Panker

I don't see a problem with this car and tyres, it maybe down to aero / handling that I pointed out earlier. I have since, for my own personal benefit, fixed everything that I have mentioned and this car is now amazing, but there is nothing wrong with the tyres

He ment the visual impression of the tires. ;)

I'm very upset with you RSS guys.

I'm moving across the country in a week and a half. Before I leave, I have to finish my portfolio website rebuild, and close out a contract project. Knowing that this little bundle of joy is now in the world for all, I'm not going to get either of those things finished.

... Sigh... time to unpack the Rift...

Seriously, though, absolutely amazing, stunning work. I'm going to try not to purchase it until after the move, but it's going to be seriously difficult. I don't know if I have the willpower to make it through the next 3 weeks without trying it out.

I know maybe that not impressive to some people ,
but I extracted my front and rear wheels complete ,
took them inside keyshot , altered the FOV and settings ,
and rendered my wheels and bump maps and nm maps , for my LOD ,

Here I animated what I just aligned ,
simply there is just too much details here even adding to my LOD_B , its just not realistic to have this sheer amount of parts inside each wheel ,

but anyways here it his , inside the SDK I will be able to alter the brightness ect :)
from experience darker is always better regarding LOD .

Any chance you could expand on this method (even if via PM)? AFAIK Keyshot can't render out to a UV flat (unless that was added in KS7, which I don't have yet), so I'm assuming you rendered out orthographic views and built textures from those? How difficult is that with the tires, being round? I'd love to get some input on that, because I use Keyshot often for my work and being able to set up things for material/texture creation with it would be nice, once I get (back) into polygon modeling in a few months (after I move, and after I can pull myself away from the RSS4 :p )
