Cars Formula RSS 2 by Race Sim Studio

Looks sensational, this is the future of Assetto Corsa. Extremely high quality, relevant, interesting mods.

Cannot wait.

Expect your sales (and Kunos) to go sky high with this level of modding.

Codemasters must be fuming that the 2017 F1 cars are already available at a much higher standard, on a much better sim, for a fraction of the cost of F1 2017.

I wanted to animate the brake pads ,
As aero flaps , so close under braking ,
But I think people would think I have lost my mind , But its possible :geek:
how animate open and close the caliper? you are real crazy lol would that even be visible??
I wouldn't mind at all the more to real life the better keep it up

Visible if you look obviously ,
But like 1% of people maybe would actually look at the discs ect ,
Whatever ,
Only take 1hr or so to do it all , It is in my mind ,
When something gets there it gets tested , if it looks good I keep it :D

I have a degree in Cad and Cam computer aided engineering ,
I want to make real cars , After all its a simulation game ,
But if you do not like realism , Thats your choice in life ,
I would make the engine and animate the pistons ,
Even though you can not actually see it ,

But for example , when you hoover the floor , or clean your floor at your home there is two types of people ,
People who move everything and hoover everything ,
And people who think , well you can not see it ill sweep some **** under the carpet ,
What type of person are you ?
Because you do a lot of complaining :D

I must admit I had similar thoughts on the brake caliper (making them animated), but lets face it, if the caliper moves visibly when braking then there's probably something quite wrong :roflmao:

I mean there really should be close to zero movement, maybe less than 1mm, since its all about pressure than position.

Real life maybe 1mm , Not 100% sure , But this is 2mm and quite visible :D

Really? Complaining? WTF
But please animate the brake fluid in steel tubes. It makes the same sense.
And please don't call a simple question about the sense behind your work complaining.

BTW: An animated brake pad adds how much more realism to Assetto Corsa? Driving related? An animated engine under the hood?
Driving related?
Like I've always said to you (also before your break in modding) for me is AC a racing simulation. NOT a showroom and screenshot tool.
Maybe you can remember....

Was me who 1st ever did the brake disc glow ingame before kunos ,
Can not remember people complaining over that either ,
If I want to animate the brake pads I will ,
Take like 20 minutes and effects no one ,
If you dont like the idea dont play with the car ,

Like to me knowing when im racing and I brake and the pads move , makes me sleep better at night :D

You talk about realism. So please answer on my two questions about it.

And if you want this thread just for costumers of your cars and hyped fans of your person David should change the thread title.

Showroom is to show the features of the car you are driving ,
I like my brakes ,
I spent more time making one nut on them ,
Than it would take to have them moving ingame ,
So if theres time like I said ,
I will animate them ,
That is all nothing else , Every time I post something , your either negative or have something smart to say ,
Like that god comment ,
Chill out and have fun man , life is too short :D
