You can assign a button for launch control if you wish. On the start, push and hold the button and hold the throttle in to the max. When the lights go out, release the button and off you go.

May I suggest moving this event for a track that is technically less demanding, and more suited for close racing with these cars? I'm thinking something like Mosport Park which has great flow and pretty simple layout. Just a suggestion.
The track has a great flow once you learn it, long sweeping corners with decently friendly kerbs. Once you get the hang of the track it's really great I think for these cars, and has some clear overtaking oppertuneties as well .

Yes, careful on the kerbs.

The track was designed and created specifically for flowing open wheeler racing. There are a number of opportunities around the track where you can overtake, like the really long sweeping left handers you can take more than one line through there in a race. Personally I like the track even hot lapping.

Indeed, quite fun for hot lapping. I always feel like I could have gone faster. However, the track won't be up to FIA safety standards I believe... (barrels and stone walls in place of armco and tyre walls?)
