This is no place to lose focus! Those walls are killers!

Practice paid off and I actually qualified well, too well. All of us were so close in times, In a fleeting glimse of the future I imagined being in the middle of a fast moving, tightly knit group and making a mistake that took several out of the race. I opted to leave the sesion and return for a lower place on the grid.

R1 I missed Yves losing it in the big bend and so all I had to do for the rest of the race was not make a mistake as both Michael and Eric took off. Most times I was able to find my most favorable line through the jump/transition area and was very comfortable. Mike hit the wall, There was still a pall of black smoke in the air as I passed the spot. Yves caught me in his chase to unlap himself on L10. Bob was laying a persistent smoke screen down as his motor heated, still running quali settings Bob?

R2 Good start again and happy to drive around without hitting walls! End of L2[?] and Bob knocks me at the chicane, I take off and he takes a SnG[?]. John is pushing hard behind me, this is going to be a good race! L11 and John taps me and waits, I wait on the straight, we were having a good race! L12 and I go off just a little in the big bend and take off after John. Next lap John is off at the jump but still ahead of me. L15 he does it again and I can take advantage! He was pulling away befoe the offs but The places stay the same as Yves and Michael come up to lap us. End.

Very exciting little track in these cars, I don't think my cardiologist would approve!

Thanks Yves, RD and you guys that showed up!

no server up for this event yet?
going to be rusty with the mini so some practice would be nice

Its like riding a bike ... you'll be straight back on form within a couple of laps mate ;-)

Admins: Apologies for this but I might be quite late or have to miss this one - sorry, but just found out I gotta go out this evening and am not sure if I will be back in time. Am hoping to make it though 'cos I remember some good racing round here (once we all get past "that right hander" on lap 1)

Tried the Ferarri and blew my engine on the first lap with a downshift  Wasn't exactly being gentle but not too rough either. Damn and I liked that car, too scared to drive it now  For me it's going to be the Porsche, Vette or the BMW. Fastest lap so far was with the Porsche but it's a bit unstable.
