AC Ford Escort RS 1600 @ Croft Circuit 1.0 - Thu 10May18

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
@Bobby Pennington ..this is killing me, it really is, I absolutely love racing with you guys, its fun and its fair, yes I was running towards the back of the field, but for sure was being pulled towards the front, with all the help I was getting  ...you are a great host Bobby, you will help anybody, but will not stand for any :poop: very fair and firm :thumbsup:

Sadly since the change in time zone here in the UK, it means a 2am race for me and staying up for most of the night, its surprising what a difference just 1 hr makes. Very sadly (due to time zone) it does start to effect the others within my young family  like having breakfast with my boys before they go to school, I found I was just not able to get up in time, my youngest would sit on my disability scooter and get a ride to school, he loved it :) and it was/is also the "highlight" of my day

I understand that you can not change the start time and would never ask you to, I am one of just many involved. I just wanted you to know exactly why you are not seeing me so often.

Having said all that, I can not miss this great combo ...but I will leave you all shortly after the race.

In please ..ill take the Ford Escort RS 1600 :roflmao::p
Thank you for such kind words sir. I understand what you are saying about your family and I'm glad you put them first. That being said, I'm glad you are joining us tonight. It should be a lot of fun.

This looks fun can you please sign me in Bobby :)
The Real Tarek pokes his head above ground again:D

Practicing online and offline today I got control of the car, perfected a winning setup and was ready to enter tonight. Remember that last event I could not control the car at all! Then my wife and I sat down to a steak dinner and got into a drinking contest. the results of which mean that I will not be able to show all of you what I'm capable of in this car and on this track. Not to worry, there is a bottle of tequila nearby and my wife is calling me....

@Buster and @Tarek Khedr

Apologies for contact.

Failed to make a brake bias adjustment after quali (meant to) and struggled with the front locking anytime I went more than about 50% brake.
Overzealous, slid into you both, very sorry for that.

Fun racing otherwise.
Wish I hadn't botched the brake bias, felt like I had some decent pace otherwise.

No worries Jakal , these cars go all over the place anyways :) it was fun racing these ones

Well, that was.....interesting. :D
Keeping these things on track was a challenge, never mind driving it fast.

Apologies for the Turn 1 screw-up.
It's been a while since I last drove hell'n'toe, and I'm more than a little rusty.
So when everybody started braking for T1, I stomped on the clutch...*facepalm*
Only took a second before I switched to the right pedal, but that was all it took.
